Carolina Fresh opened its first Tide Cleaners location in the Charlotte market in February 2014, becoming the 20th store in the Tide Cleaners system. Since then, the company has continued to expand its presence throughout the Charlotte area through a combination of new store development and strategic acquisitions.

In 2019, Carolina Fresh opened its second plant location along with its first drop store. The company successfully navigated the challenges of the pandemic by remaining focused on serving its customers and supporting the local community.

In 2022, Carolina Fresh expanded significantly through the acquisition of four additional locations in the Charlotte market, allowing the company to maximize production capacity and strengthen its operational footprint. Continued growth and investment in the market have further established Tide Cleaners as a leading provider of dry cleaning, laundry, and garment care services throughout the Charlotte area.

Today, Carolina Fresh operates six Tide Cleaners locations in the Charlotte market and remains focused on delivering exceptional customer service, investing in its people and operations, and pursuing continued strategic growth throughout the region.

Carolina Fresh was recognized as Tide Cleaners Developer of the Year in 2022.
